This evening is the 25th annual Independent Spirit Awards, and to celebrate, we're taking a look back at some of the highlights over the years. The show has evolved over its quarter decade run, from a casual beach affair to a full-blown award season event. Some of our favorite actors - like Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Ryan Gosling, Heath Ledger, and Michelle Williams - have attended and even been honored for their work in independent film.
