Leighton Meester Cozies Up With Garrett Hedlund at Globes Afterparties - Cute Couple or Mismatch?

Country Strong costars Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund were attached at the hip as they made the Golden Globes afterparty rounds last night. The two were apparently spotted sneaking kisses amid other PDA and left together at the end of the evening. Garrett is a hot commodity in Hollywood these days and is among the guys we’d like to see more of in 2011. Leighton is a single lady after her split from Sebastian Stan last year, and it’s easy to see how she could fall for handsome Garrett. Relationships between sexy young actors tend to burn out quickly, but for the time being we want to know your take on a possible Leighton and Garrett hookup - cute couple or mismatch?

Angelina Jolie Has a Gorgeous, Green, Grinning Golden Globes

Angelina Jolie was all smiles at the Golden Globe Awards in LA last night. She hit the red carpet decked out in a gorgeous Versace dress accompanied by Brad Pitt, who was in a dashing suit from the same designer. She didn’t take home a statue for her work in The Tourist, though she and Brad gave viewers lots of eye candy when the cameras showed the pair at their seats. She fixed his bow tie and reapplied her lip gloss during the show, and she kept the celebrations going at the Sony Pictures Classic afterparty. Green was the color of the evening, and Angelina looked smashing posing with friends. She is back in California after her latest philanthropic adventure, and while having the Jolie-Pitt eye candy is an award season staple, her movie isn’t expected to make a repeat performance as a nominee when the Oscar list is announced next week.

Jake Gyllenhaal Brings His Ex, Troop Beverly Hills Star Jenny Lewis, as Golden Globes Date!

Jake Gyllenhaal is newly single after his split from Taylor Swift, but the Golden Globe nominee didn’t go solo to last night’s big show. Jake brought along Jenny Lewis, the front woman for the band Rilo Kiley and former child star from Troop Beverly Hills. The two apparently dated back in 2001, and she was the lucky lady to score a spot as his award season date. The two have also been friends for a long time and he’s a big fan of her music. He and Reese Witherspoon even checked out her Coachella performance a few years ago. After the show, Jake stopped by the Weinstein Company afterparty, though he skipped doing the red carpet with his lady friend.

Ryan, Matt, Rachel, and Christian Celebrate Golden Globe Triumphs at Star-Studded Weinstein Afterparty!

The Weinstien Company had a lot to celebrate after last night’s Golden Globe Awards, which made for another star-studded afterparty to honor their winning and nominated movies. The Weinstein Company teamed up with Marie Claire and Relativity for the bash, which was held in an outdoor courtyard under the stars. Michelle Williams was one of the first to arrive, accompanied by her Dawson’s Creek costar and good friend Busy Philipps. Ryan Gosling and Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance took the red carpet together to talk about their film, though it didn’t take home any statues. Rachel Zoe looked adorable in her black minidress and she happily endorsed her client Anne Hathaway as the best dressed of the evening. Zoe was excited to hear that her Twilight favorite was making the party rounds, and he was also a topic of conversation when his copresenter Olivia Wilde stopped by the soiree. She said that getting to take the stage with him was “lovely.” The Fighter was honored with two triumphs during the show, though Christian Bale wasn’t showing off his new Globe as he posed with his wife, Matt Damon, and Luciana inside the Weinstein party. Jake Gylenhaal skipped the arrivals line but met up with friends inside as they enjoyed the festivities.
